Personal Growth
The Youth Ministry Life Impact Church encompasses both Junior High (grades 6-8th) and Senior High (grades 9-12th). Because this period is a critical juncture in life, we've developed many exciting avenues for personal and spiritual growth, starting with our services.
Sunday Pre-Service Although our youth take part in our Sunday
Morning Worship and Life Impact After Dark services, we have a special gathering at 5:30 pm
for the youth to socialize and hang out with youth their own age. We have games, and activities
that are fun and food.
Wednesday Collision is our midweek youth rally, incorporating both Junior High & Senior High. Each week is filled with exciting worship, video, and relevant teaching designed to inspire students in their personal and spiritual walk. Collision is fresh and changing every week to include small group interaction, guest speakers, concerts, outreach services, and more. Collision provides opportunities for students to reach their friends, grow in their spiritual walk, and establish meaningful relationships with others.
Activities & Tracks
In addition to our core services, the Collision Youth Ministry also offers a unique and broad set of programs and activities that encourage spiritual, physical and emotional growth. These unique opportunities are integrated into the Youth Ministry as a whole, but operate as specific tracks for involvement depending on the interests of the student.
Discipleship: Teaching, accountability, outreach, and
other avenues for spiritual growth help students discover their potential and
employ their spiritual gifts. Though some activities are age- and
gender-specific, all are focused on the core aspects of what it means to be a
Christ-follower.
Youth Dance Team: Psalm 149:3 says we are to praise the LORD in dance and we do just that with our mix of hip hop and interpreted dance.
Creative Arts: Youth who are interested ministering through, dramas, plays, and skits can join our creative arts team. Life Impact Church does one huge illustrated sermon production each quarter, not to mention our Christmas Programs and numerous skits throughout the year.
Worship Team: The Youth worship teams are for youth, by youth. This is trained in all aspects of leading corporate worship not only through music, but also in technical direction, video, sound, and more. These practical aspects of ministry are supervised by experienced and qualified ministry leaders at Life Impact Church.
